RBC Capital Markets is looking for a dynamic Campus Recruiter who will be responsible for the graduate and summer intern recruitment for the Investment Banking division, as well as core school relationships, oversight of the summer intern program within the Capital Markets Division in the US and execution of the campus diversity strategy for your schools and business. This role coordinates recruitment activities, on-campus events, summer intern program and diversity events. This includes related activities to ensure recordkeeping, posting and candidate tracking obligations are met, career services management, weekly/monthly/ad hoc reporting. As necessary, assists in sourcing, screening and other recruitment activity in support of the business and diversity action plans.
What will you do?
Partner with business leaders and school team captains to deliver high quality candidates to the intern and full-time classes*
Identifying organizations on campus that yield high performing candidates*
Manage internal school recruiting teams (both undergraduate and MBA)*
Act as a program manager for intern campus hires*
Liaise with our global learning and campus recruiting partners to plan intern new hire training program*
Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on candidates, interview schedules and other recruiting activities*
Work collaboratively with Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) and Diversity Manager to build action plan to achieve diversity goals and objectives across campus hiring*
Execute diversity plan by working with market leaders to address unique gaps/needs*
Develops networks to source and attract diversity candidates through relationship building activities with local market groups such as diversity organizations, post- secondary schools, community agencies and associations*
What do you need to succeed?
Minimum of 3-5 years of Campus Recruiting experience (preferred)
Passion for working with junior level talent
Strong business acumen and motivation to stay abreast of emerging regional/market diversity trends and cultural nuances
Previous experience from a major financial services firm is preferred but not required
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills necessary
Proven problem solving skills; analytical and numeric reasoning skills
Strong organizational, time management and process management skills necessary to maintain high volume workload; as well as keen attention to detail
Proficiency with MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) & Internet skills
Proven flexibility in accommodating different personalities, professional work styles and changing work priorities
